Is it bad to like the south and confederates and have a confederate flag in the north????

I don't think so. It is your privilege to like the flag of the Confederacy, but always revere the flag of the United Sates with more respect. I like some of the ideals of the South, and I do not attach slavery or a lot of the negative issues of the time with these symbols. In Texas, this is part of our history, so it is natural for us to respect its existence.
