Will yahoo answer people write there views in you local newspaper editorial page?

I have recently started writing op/eds in the paper. Out of three written so far 2 have been published. I wondering if you guys will stop writing anon in cyber space and vent your views to the old folks who read the paper and they vote. It seems to me you could possibly push people to change there votes and there fore govt. So are you going to write your local paper? you can do this on line.
