I want to add a map to my webpage so that when you click on a state it takes you to another page with products?

in that state. How would i go about doing this? I found a program that has a map with clickable states, do i program each url to each state? then do i have to encode a seperate page for each 50 states? or is it possible to encode only one page to direct to 50 pages with different text but the same format. Thanks! my webdesigner bailed on me and I am an HTML beginner...
