What you think about it?
Cecilia is right. It's an old fashioned, but very proper formal way to address a married woman. Do you speak Spanish? It's a bit like how in Spanish speaking countries a woman is keeps her name and then adds "de ______" when she marries. Like Maria Elena Sanchez de Gonzalez. It says the woman belongs to/with her husband. Addressing you as Mrs. Erick Sanders says you are his wife. It says you belong with/to your husband. Personally I've never liked it either and I wonder why we couldn't just use Mrs. Jane (Your first name) Sanders. It acknowledges the woman has an identity separate from her husband.
